The ACCA Board of Directors continues to be committed to provide resources and opportunities to promote and recognize staff excellence within the agencies the membership represents. One way of implementing this effort was to expand staff recognition by presenting two awards along with public recognition for each of the awards.
These awards recognize individuals for their professionalism, commitment, character, dedication, length of service and contribution to quality child care services and programs.
The Thomas E. Roberts Distinguished Direct Care Award is in honor of Mr. Roberts, who was a long-time distinguished member of the association, and provides recognition to agency direct care and support staff for their dedication and commitment to child care ministries.
The Award for Excellence will recognize an outstanding staff member who provides essential services to the operation and programs of the agencies represented by ACCA members.
This includes, but is not limited to, the following support services – clerical, developmental, administrative, social service, programmatic, educational, and other operational staff.
