Billy M. Partridge was raised in Tyler, Texas and graduated from John Tyler High School (1965), Tyler Junior College (1967), and Baylor University (1969). While attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, he met and later married Dana Broughton. While at Seminary, Bill had an opportunity to go to work at Lena Pope Home. "It was an opportunity that redirected my life."
From feeling God's call to missions in Brazil to recognizing His call to minister to children in out of home placements, it was the beginning of the vision to start a boys ranch. From a small group home in Ft. Worth, to that first day in April, 1979 when Bill & Dana opened the doors of Azleway Boys Ranch, Tyler, God has worked miracles all the way.
In 2009, after raising thousands of children in need, Bill retired as the founding CEO. Since then, he has spearheaded the opening and operations of 5 Azleway stores across Texas that provide free food and clothes to thousands of children and needy families. Through it all, God has continued to lead and direct Bill & Dana through their churches, their participation in mission trips, and their role as grandparents!
